On Feb. 20, the Halton District School Board, in collaboration with SAVIS of Halton and EFRY Hope and Help for Women, hosted an Anti-Sex Trafficking Information Session at Georgetown District High School. Experts, survivors and law enforcement provided critical insights on the realities of sex trafficking, warning signs, online safety and prevention strategies. This session aimed to equip the community with knowledge and resources to help identify and respond to exploitation.
