Nelson High School re-dedicates its Apeldoorn Friendship Garden

Nelson High School hosted an event recently to re-dedicate its Apeldoorn Friendship garden, created several years ago, to acknowledge the twinning relationship the City of Burlington has with Apeldoorn Netherlands. The school's Community Pathways Program students tend to the garden. Visitors from Apeldoorn, city officials, and school staff and students were on hand to commemorate the gardens designed to recongize Canada's major role in liberating Holland from Nazi Germany during World War II.
